Scripture Reading For Today — 2Co 4:13; Mark 11:22-23
Say What You See
There are two very important things that we will need to do, as we cooperate with God to see that desired change to the story of our lives.
The first thing to do, is to make a decision on what we are going to believe (as we read on day one), and the other is to choose what we will decide to speak.
As a matter of fact, as we see in our scripture for today, both things are actually quite related:
“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2Co 4:13
What you believe is what you will speak; or put another way, who you believe is who you will report.
Having spent the last two days working out whose report we will choose to believe and meditating on what God has said concerning our lives, now, what remains is for us to begin to declare what we have believed and speak life into the new story that our lives must begin to tell!
What Do You Say?
The change of story must first begin from the inside; in our hearts, in our minds and then, from our mouths!
Can you see what God is saying to you about the new story of your life?
Will you begin to say what you see?
“Have faith in God.
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Selah…
Prayer Focus
Allow the Holy Spirit to draw the new story board for your life in your spirit.
Ask God to heal your heart and your memories and your emotions; pray that He will free your mind from every limiting thought or adverse experiences that would seek to blur the image of the new things that God wants to bring to pass in your life.
Pray also for the ministry (GLA), that God will tear up the script of lies that the enemy has used to tell our story, and that God will now cause our story to be told from the storybook that He has written concerning us.
Speak what you believe as the story that will begin to be told about your life, family, career, ministry, marriage, finances, this church, and every thing that concerns you, in Jesus’s Name.
Amen.

Scripture Reading For Today — Rom 4:17-21; Gen 17:1-6; Gen 1:1-3
But Then, God Said…
I’d like to start off today’s meditation by asking you a simple question:
What’s your story again…?
The three scriptures that we are meditating on today, give us a good foundation to properly answer that question.
In the first one Rom 4:17-21 which we also meditated on yesterday, the passage recounts the testimony of Abraham who had to take a stance of faith, to believe that God was both able and faithful to keep the promise that He had made to him.
But in addition to telling us what Abraham did, it also recounts what God does —
“He gives life to the dead and calls the things that be not, as though they were!”
Blessed, but…
Childless Abraham, then “Abram’s” life, together with his wife Sarah, told the story that said: “blessed, but…”
Maybe like them, you also have a “but” in the story that your life has told about you up till this moment in time.
Maybe when people talk about you there is a “but” that is a prominent narrative of your history. Maybe the enemy mocks you constantly with that irrefutable “but” that even you cannot ignore when you think about your life and your circumstances.
God is ready to add a “then” to the “but” in your life and say something different about your life; He is ready to change the narrative of the story of your life!
Abraham called himself childless and heirless (Gen 15:2) That was the story he had told himself and believed to be the reality of his life; that was the story that people told about him.
Time had passed him by — that was another story that was evident; another lie that he had believed about his situation. (Gen 17:15-17)
But then, God had looked at childless Abram and called him Abraham, the father of many nations; He then looked at barren Sarai and called her Sarah, a mother of nations —
“Then God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name.
And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be from her.” Gen 17:15-16
God called them both what they were meant to be; He declared them to be already who they were destined to be—
Calling the things that be not, as they were meant to be, God changed the narrative of their story!
I Know What I See, But I Know What He Said!
In Gen 1:1-3; we see this inerrant nature of God also manifested right from the time of creation. The bible tells us the history of creation; the state that the earth was in at the beginning of creation — a dark, formless void.
But God looked beyond that undesirable story and declared instead, what He wanted to see into manifestation — “Then God Said!”
We would see this exact phrase repeated seven more times, as God used the words from His mouth to shape the nature of creation.
So, your life is a mess right now; so your children, finances, career, ministry, marriage, business are not what or where you want them to be — and then what?
Then God said!
Friend, it is time for you to begin to do as God did, to begin to say what God said; it is time for you to open your mouth and call those things that be not in your life, as they ought to be!
Prayer Focus
Make a list of the things, situations, areas of your life where you want to see a change in your story.
Where the word of a king is, there is power! (Ecclesiastes 8:4)
Begin to speak the change that you want to see, and call those things not what they are or have been, but what God intends for them to be; what you are believing God for them to be!
I pray that God will bring the changes and breakthroughs that you desire in your life, according to His good counsel and purpose concerning you, in the precious Name of Jesus. Amen.

Scriptures For Meditation — Isa 53:1; Rom 4:17-21
Whose Report Will You Believe?
In our first scripture for today (Isa 53:1), Prophet Isaiah asks the nation of Israel two questions:
Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
Israel had been living out a story that was the complete opposite to what God had promised and intended to be the reality of their existence.
God had sent His prophets to declare His counsel concerning Israel and the coming of the Messiah to deliver them and set them right again.
The Jews however did not receive the report, and for this reason He was not manifested to them as the promised Messiah and they remained bound in their captivity and bondage to a life that was limited by their ignorance and their beliefs.
Your Story Must Change
Over the past four weeks (since the beginning of the new year), God has been speaking to us about the imminent change to the story of our lives that do not align with what He has written concerning us.
As we have learnt, everyone has a story.
There is something that has been the hallmark of most of our lives; something that has become the thing that people have used to identify us, or that we have used to identify ourselves. The lies that the devil has made us to believe about ourselves, our abilities or our destiny.
The lies that we have told ourselves and believed up until now, that had limited us and prevented us from being all that God has purposed for us to be or having all that He has designed for us to accomplish.
Whose Report Will You Believe?
The bible tells us that Abraham (Rom 4:17-21) chose to believe a different story about his life and his circumstances, and was rewarded with the fulfilment of God’s promises concerning him.
He stopped considering the seeming hopelessness of his situation and the apparent impossible limitations of the “realities” of his life, but chose instead to believe what God says about him!
Can you dare to believe what God has said and is still saying concerning you?
Prayer Focus
Dear friend, remind yourself again about the promises that God has made to you; begin to call yourself who God says you are. Declare it and Confess it as the reality of your life from today. Prophesy it as the story of your life that people will begin to declare concerning you in Jesus’s Name.
You are a Victor and not a victim. You are the head and not the tail; you are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. You are blessed and highly favoured of the Lord. You are destined to prosper and your life was made to bring glory to God!
As you believe and confess the report of the Lord, may the glorious power of His mighty arm be revealed to you to deliver the promises His mouth has spoken concerning you in Jesus’s Name.
Amen.
